the new protobrand →
So one thing I’ve done is redesigned their website. Click the link to check it out.
The website was then tediously coded by Matt Kenefick which is awesome.

Oh yea my internship!
Well, not an internship anymore to start.
I got hired after the summer and have been juggling that with school. Intense but such an amazing experience. Its so nice having actual clients and real experience under my belt.
So I've been slacking
So I know I haven’t posted in way too long. Let me promise you huuuuuge things have happened since I’ve last posted. I figure approaching the new years is the perfect time to start up again especially now that my crazy busy semester is over. Expect many updates to come.

Protobrand
So I’ve been at my internship for a couple weeks now and couldn’t be happier there. I’m working on real projects with real clients doing real things. It’s pretty real. Expect some posts with more specifics in a bit but so far I’m loving this internship.
So far the most productive summer I’ve ever had which is definitely a good thing.

Today I got offered the internship position at Protobrand starting on wednesday. I’m so excited and it’s gonna be an awesome experience. Plus the people are great so it might just be fun too!

Former Teacher: Austin, How are you? There is a local tabloid newspaper (excellent paper) in the area that needs help doing print ads. I thought perhaps you could handle? With email? What are your thoughts?
Me: Wow yes that sounds great! I'm in boston for the summer and will definitely have a lot of extra time on my hands. I'm very sure that I could handle that through email as well.

So this has been a very long time in the making but my website is finally up.
Last night I stayed up way to late working on some flash stuff for my website and getting all the final things ready. Also adding a couple pieces that I had left out before.
I finished uploading it to the hosting site this morning and have gotten a lot of positive feedback on it. Its great having a place I can send...

So I’ve been meaning to share this update for a while. Because I got the community advisor position on the dorms next year and would be saving a lot of money that would go to loans I decided to treat myself to a beauuutiful new computer.

Love Life
So I am overly excited right now. I got the CA (community assistant/resident assistant) position at the dorms here at AIB. This will be a huge financial help and will provide many great experiences along the way too. I was an RA at my last college for four semesters so its really not going to be too much different.

Today I find out if I get the community advisor position on campus. The interview process has been going on for over a month now so this is pretty exciting.
Also if I get the job I’m rewarding myself with spending all of my money on a beautiful new 24in iMac! So wish me luck and expect another post soon.

procrastination productivity.
So in the last days of the 1,000 free business cards from Uprinting.com I finally did my design and sent it away paying 7 bucks for shipping for a sweet double sided card. I can’t wait to get them in the mail!
I also purchased my domain name which you can see in the business cards. Hopefully you’ll see that up by the end of the week.

Back to the usual
So a busy spring break turns into a busy week. Midterm for World Civ on wednesday and a project due tomorrow.
I do get to see what I got on those two art history midterms though. That’s a plus.
Also I have an interview for my RA position on wednesday. That’s super important so I can’t wait. I realllly need that job.

So what did you do all break?
Well I coded my portfolio website, worked on projects, and went to AIGA lectures. Very productive. I didn’t get to my business cards alas but I will soon because of this deal over at uprinting.com
